Oleanders, the Hospital Garden at Saint-Remy — Fine Art

Oleanders, the Hospital Garden at Saint-Remy shows a bed of bright flowers in a garden setting. Broad painted strokes build the blossoms and leaves, and the greens and warm reds sit close together. The scene comes from the time Vincent van Gogh spent at Saint-Remy.

The fine art print sits on a wall with a frame that follows the room. A light frame works on a dark wall, and a wood frame fits beside wooden furniture. The matte paper keeps the painted colours soft rather than shiny.

In a kitchen, the flowers stand out against the pale tiles near the sink. From the table you notice the loose painted shapes, and the garden feel stays calm while you work.
