Only Orange — Fine Art

Only Orange - 1963 shows a large field of orange paint laid directly on the sheet. Helen Frankenthaler worked with thin washes that soak into paper, and this image carries that method. The orange spreads in one broad area with a soft edge where the liquid stopped.

The fine art print keeps that soft edge because the paper stays matte and does not shine. A light frame on a dark wall lets the orange sit cleanly without competing with the paint. You see the single colour block rather than a busy surface.
