Operation Sea Lion 1975

Operation Sea Lion 1975 spreads thick paint over a rough ground. Heavy strokes press into the surface and leave uneven ridges. The marks feel built up rather than brushed on smoothly. A dark field holds the weight low in the picture.

The fine art frame in black gives the image a firm edge against the painted ground. The dark finish keeps the heavy paint from spreading outward on the wall.

You see it on a study wall near a desk lamp. The thick paint catches the warm light and the black frame stays quiet behind it.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
