Orchard — Fine Art

Orchard shows fruit trees in leaf, painted in the decorative style of Gustav Klimt. The branches reach across the picture and the leaves hold small flat patches of green and gold. The marks stay close together and the shapes feel patterned rather than loose.

This fine art print sits on a matte paper so the light greens and golds do not shine under a lamp. The frame finish can follow the room, a light frame on a dark wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture. The paper holds the small leaf shapes without flattening them.

It works on a kitchen wall above the counter where you stand while the kettle boils. From that spot the tree shapes read as a quiet pattern behind the sink. You see the small marks best when you lean in to dry a plate.
