About this work

Out of the Sea

Out of the Sea by Eyvind Earle sets a cool sea against a sharp sky with hard edge shapes and clean outline work. The artist places the horizon line low and lets the water run in flat bands of blue and grey.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The print arrives ready to hang on a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail. No separate frame to buy. The paper stays matte so the blue tones do not shine under a lamp.

In a study over a desk the viewer sees the wide water band and the dark tree line across the top. From the doorway the shapes read plain and clear, up close the pencil lines show in the edges.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
