Outcry

Outcry by Barnett Newman uses a wide dark field with a single vertical band that splits the space. The painted shapes sit close to the viewer and the edges hold steady. Thin marks of lighter tone move along the band near the top and near the lower edge.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger fixed to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need a separate frame. The matte finish keeps the dark tone soft and the lighter marks stay readable under a lamp.

Hang it on a long wall in a quiet hallway, set so the vertical band lines up with your eye as you walk past. From a few steps back the broad field reads first and the thin marks come into view when you stop.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
