Pal-Ket - 1974 by Victor Vasarely uses sharp geometric forms arranged in repeating colour bands. The pattern reads like a stepped grid, with dark and bright areas placed side by side. The shapes pull the eye along the rows and back again.

The fine art frame in white gives the picture a clean edge on the wall. That plain border sits calmly against the bright colour shifts and keeps the focus on the grid.
