Palm Sight

Palm Sight - 1991 shows a field built from small marks and strokes that gather into loose shapes. A dark cluster sits near the centre and the rest of the page stays open.

Richard Pousette-Dart built this kind of layered surface with repeated paint gestures. The fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel and arrives ready to hang when you use that option.

The matte paper keeps the small strokes soft and holds the darker tones without shine. It works on a bedroom wall above the bed, where the marks settle into the quiet and you notice the gathering of paint from the side of the bed.
