Palm Sight by Richard Pousette-Dart — Fine Art

Palm Sight by Richard Pousette-Dart opens on a field of layered shapes in warm oranges and cool blues. The marks build from the centre outward, so the colour sits heavier near the middle and thins toward the edges. It reads like a mid century abstract painting practice.

The print arrives as a fine art piece with a metal hanger fitted to the back. You place it straight onto a nail or screw, with no separate frame to buy. The matte surface keeps the oranges from shining under a light.

In a study with a desk against the far wall, you notice the warm tones first, then the thin blue marks when you stand near the desk. The shapes stay quiet from a few steps away.
