Paris Review Poster — Fine Art

The Paris Review Poster by Andy Warhol uses bold lettering and a hard edge against a plain ground. The title text repeats across the page in a flat layer of colour. From across the room the letters hold their shape, up close the grain of the surface shows through the fill.

This fine art sheet arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. The matte surface keeps the letters from shining under a lamp and the hanger lets the poster go up on the wall without a frame.

It reads well above a long desk where the big letters stay clear from the doorway. Step closer and the small marks in the fill come into view, then the text settles back into a simple row.
