Park of Idols 1938 — Fine Art

Three dark silhouettes stand on a quiet ground in Park of Idols 1938. They look like copied statues placed in a row. The picture leaves open space around them, so each shape reads as a separate figure rather than a crowd.

The fine art print sits inside a white frame that gives the picture a clean edge on the wall. The light frame stays quiet against the dark forms, and the matte surface keeps the grey tones from shining under a lamp.

It works on the landing wall where the stairs turn. From the bottom step you see the three shapes standing together. From the top step you notice the thin outline around each one.
