Per Costruzione di Oasi — Fine Art

Per Costruzione di Oasi - 1980 shows a plan built from flat colour areas and thin drawn lines. The picture reads like a ground map with stacked sections spread across the sheet. Mario Schifano often worked with screenprinted layers and graphic shapes in this period.

This fine art print is set in a frame with a back panel. The sheet carries the flat colour patches and the drawn marks as they appear on the original. A back panel keeps the sheet flat against the frame. You get a ready to hang picture when the assembled option is used.

It fits on the wall near the kitchen table. From the counter you see the stacked colour bands first, then the thin lines on the upper part. The light from the window keeps the pale areas soft.
