Perspectives — Fine Art

Perspectives by Konrad Zuse lays out a field of fine lines and small marks arranged in a measured order. The drawing uses pencil and ink on paper, a method the artist used for early studies of space and form. A fine art print carries those marks forward on matte paper.

The matte surface holds the thin lines without shine, so the grey strokes stay soft under a lamp. A light frame sits on a darker wall, or a wood frame beside wooden furniture, depending on the room.

On a hallway side wall, the viewer sees the long rows of lines first, then the small letters and numbers closer by. The marks read like notes from a machine that measured space.
