Pink Flutter — Fine Art

Pink Flutter by Sam Gilliam opens on a band of rose tone laid over a pale ground. The pink sits against softer gray and white, so the colour reads as a calm shift rather than a hard edge. The mark drifts across the field with a loose hand.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The paper is matte, which keeps the pink tones from catching a direct lamp. A light frame on a dark wall gives the pink band room to read clearly. A wood frame beside wooden furniture lets the warm tone blend in.

On a dining room wall above the chair rail, the pink band catches the evening light. From the side you notice the soft wash of colour, and the room feels steady without bright contrast.
