Pinons with Cedar by Georgia OKeeffe — Fine Art

Two dark pine forms sit beside a tall cedar trunk against a plain ground. The eye lands on the tree trunks first, then moves into the open space beside them. Pinons with Cedar reads like a study of trees and their shadows.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the pine greens and cedar tones soft and stops glare from a lamp. The assembled piece hangs ready when the ready to hang option is chosen.

A hallway wall near the coat hooks works well for this picture. From the bend in the corridor you notice the tree shapes before the details. The daily traffic makes the plain ground feel open, and the tall cedar form breaks the horizon line.
