Plakat für Ausstellung Baden-Baden — Fine Art

Plakat für Ausstellung Baden-Baden - 1965 shows a poster layout built from clear shapes set against a pale ground. Johannes Itten worked with Bauhaus ideas about balance and contrast, and the print carries that same measured look. You see the title letters and the geometric blocks that run across the sheet.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. That means the poster can go up on a wall without a separate frame.

In a kitchen, the lettering sits where you can see it while you work at the counter. You notice the spacing of the shapes and the way the darker blocks sit against the lighter field. The metal hanger on the back keeps the sheet level above the table.
