Plumen

Plumen - 1957 shows a set of thin vertical forms arranged across the sheet.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The shapes sit with clear space between them and the paper stays open around the edges. Johannes Itten worked with Bauhaus colour practice and built these compositions from measured blocks and careful placement.

The metal hanger fitted to the back holds the sheet straight on a nail or screw and no frame is needed. It fits a narrow wall in a dining room where the plain shapes stay readable from the table.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
