Pont de Seine 1897 is a view of the Paris bridge drawn with loose pencil lines and a few patches of wash. The water below runs in pale strokes under the arches. A few figures stand on the walkway. The lines stay light and the page feels open.

The fine art frame in white, wood, dark wood or black gives the page a clean edge on the wall. The white finish keeps the pale strokes soft, while a black frame sets the drawn marks apart from the wall.
