Progresion Rosa by Jesus Rafael Soto — Fine Art

Progresion Rosa sets out a series of repeated shapes that move along the sheet. The marks step forward and back, leaving open space between them.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The eye follows the rhythm from one side to the other. Jesus Rafael Soto built this kind of optical movement into his practice.

The paper holds the greys without a shine, so the soft bands stay even under a lamp. A dark frame on a pale wall lets the steps read clearly at shoulder height. It sits above a bed, and from the doorway you notice the slow change in tone across the sheet.
