Pryamids and Clouds 1970 — Fine Art

Pryamids and Clouds 1970 by Alexander Calder places solid forms above soft washes on the sheet.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The blocks sit on a flat ground, the cloud forms spread out beside them. A metal hanger sits on the back, and the print goes up on a nail without an extra frame.

The matte paper holds the pale greys without shine, so the clouds stay soft under room light. It fits well on the wall beside a kitchen table, where the clean shapes read clearly from the doorway and the small painted edges show when you stand near.
