Quattro Stagioni II. Inverno

Quattro Stagioni II. Inverno by Cy Twombly draws on the four seasons cycle, a theme the artist returned to in later work. The sheet holds broad pale strokes and a few darker lines that recall a cold season. The marks sit on a ground that stays mostly open.

The fine art frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white frame keeps the soft ground uncluttered, while a black frame gives the edge a firm line against the pale marks.

It suits a hallway wall where the light changes through the day. From the far end you read the wide strokes first, and on the step closer the small pencil lines come into view.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
