Radius — Fine Art

Radius - 1993 holds a circle of washed colour near the centre on a pale sheet. Helen Frankenthaler worked with thin stains that soak into the sheet rather than sit on top. The mark reads as a clear ring set into an open field.

This fine art print comes set in a frame with a back panel. The fine art print keeps the soft edges of the ring and the pale ground stays even. The frame surrounds the sheet and the back panel gives the print a firm face.

In a bedroom corner the ring sits above the bed and the pale ground keeps the wall calm. From the doorway the ring reads as a simple round shape on the sheet. The frame edges catch the morning light while the stain stays flat.
