About this work
Recollections of a Visit to Leningrad by Richard Diebenkorn uses tones of grey and blue set against a muted ground. The marks sit in layers, with some darker and some lighter, so the surface reads as a record of looking.
This product is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. You get a mounted print that arrives assembled when you choose the ready to hang option. The paper is matte, so the grey tones stay even and there is no shine under a lamp.
It works well on a narrow landing wall where the turn of the stairs pulls the eye up. From the bottom step you read the broad tones first, and from the top landing the smaller marks come into view.
