Record — Fine Art

The picture Record by Robert Ryman shows a quiet painted field with small marks left by hand. The artist is known for plain paint on board, where the edge of the brush and the weight of the stroke stay visible. You can see where the paint stops and the surface begins.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black, and gives this image a clear edge on the wall. A white finish keeps the painted field open, while a dark wood finish sets the painted marks apart.

In a study above a desk, the painted field stays calm under a steady lamp. You notice the small hand marks when you lean in, and the clear frame edge keeps the whole picture settled on the wall.
