Red April — Fine Art

Red April by Sam Gilliam shows a band of red wash laid across the paper. The pigment runs in one direction, thinning out at the far end. A few darker marks sit near the middle, pressed harder into the sheet.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. The matte paper keeps the red tone even when light hits it.

On a hallway wall near the lift, the red band reads as a single line. From the stairs you see the colour first, then the faint grain inside each wash.
