Red Canna by Georgia OKeeffe — Fine Art

Red Canna shows a flower form built from layered red and warm tones. The painted line moves in a slow curve, so the shape reads as a single body rather than separate petals. Georgia OKeeffe painted this kind of close plant form across her work.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood and black. A white frame sits cleanly against the red field and leaves the edge of the image clear. A dark wood frame gives the curve a firmer line on the wall.

Hang it above a plain mantel with a small lamp to the side. From across the room the red curve holds the wall. Step closer and the layered marks show in the centre. The light from the lamp keeps the red tones even.
