Red over Yellow from Suite of Twenty-Seven Color Lithographs — Fine Art

Two colour bands sit one above the other in Red over Yellow from Suite of Twenty Seven Color Lithographs by Ellsworth Kelly. A red band fills the top half and a yellow band fills the bottom half. The join between them runs straight across.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. There is no separate frame to buy. The print shows the two colour blocks with their clean boundaries and the steady tone of each band.

It fits a door wall in a bedroom where the door opens into the room. From the doorway you see the two bands across the wall at eye level. The red band reads first, then the yellow band settles behind it.
