Red Wall 1956 — Fine Art

Red Wall 1956 shows a single red face with flat colour filling the sheet.

The work sits within Josef Albers practice of studying how one hue changes when placed on its own. A fine art print keeps the red even across the paper and the light frame sits on a dark plaster wall.

You notice the solid red from the kitchen doorway at a normal standing height. The wall stays plain and the red holds its own without any other marks around it.
