Reflets n°33

Reflets n°33 - Peinture sur plexiglas 12, travail situé - 1987 is part of Daniel Buren practice with stripes on clear panels. The marks run across a transparent surface and the colours shift where the light hits. You see a flat band of colour moving over the glass.

The fine art print sits inside a frame with a clean edge. White, wood, dark wood or black each sets a different border against the stripes. The frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall.

It fits a reading corner above a low desk. From the chair you notice the bands of colour against the glass, and the frame keeps the view tidy on the plaster.
