Revolution Affiche — Fine Art

Radical displays of colour appear in Revolution Affiche, a poster by Sonia Delaunay. Bold planes of colour sit side by side, each one set against the next without gradation.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The flat colour bands push and pull as your eye moves across the sheet. The paper is matte, so the colours stay even under a lamp and the surface does not shine.

A metal hanger is fitted to the back, so the print goes up on a nail or screw without a frame to buy. A copy hangs in the kitchen above the sink, where the bright colour bands stand out from the counter and the cook notices the clean edges while washing a plate.
