Rippled Surface

Rippled Surface by MC Escher shows parallel lines bending across a solid field, with the weight kept low and the upper area left open. The eye follows the slow curve from one side to the other. The marks stay quiet and even across the page.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The frame holds the lines steady and the matte surface keeps the soft tones from shining under a lamp. You can hang it ready to hang and it arrives assembled for that choice.

In a kitchen, set on a brick wall near the sink, the ripples read as slow water marks while you wash up. From the doorway the broad line band fills the view, and the open top keeps the wall calm.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
