Roses in the Hoshede`s Garden at Montregon — Fine Art

Roses in the Hoshede`s Garden at Montregon turns a garden bed into quick strokes of pink and red over green leaves. The paint sits in thin layers that let the stems and petals read at a distance.

Claude Monet worked outside to catch the garden before the light shifted. A fine art print set in a frame with a back panel holds the marks flat and steady.

The matte surface keeps the red petals from glaring under a lamp. In a narrow hallway with warm overhead bulbs, the pink blooms sit calm against the plaster and the frame sits quiet on the painted wood.
