Röyi — Fine Art

Röyi - 1945 by Gyula Kosice turns on a line and a few simple marks on the paper. The drawing looks like a plan or a measured diagram, with repeats and shifts that feel like motion.

Konkrete Kunst and Kinetic Art show up in the way the marks stay active. The fine art print keeps those lines clear and spare.

The fine art frame gives the picture a clean edge on the wall. White, wood, dark wood or black each set the line against a different background. On a hallway shelf the measured marks catch the passing glance, then the eye settles on the small repeats near the lower edge.
