Sacre Coeur 1 — Fine Art

Sacred Heart 1 by Maurice Utrillo shows the basilica dome rising over a narrow street in Paris. White buildings sit along the road and the sky holds soft grey tones. The paint sits in broad patches with a rough surface, the way Utrillo often handled his city views.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The paper stays matte so the chalky paint effect does not turn shiny under a lamp. When you choose the ready to hang option it arrives assembled.

It works well on a kitchen wall near a table where you set down a coffee cup. From the doorway you see the white buildings first, then the grey sky above the dome.
