Scharzler 1964

Scharzler 1964 shows a small house set against a flat ground. Grey and blue tones sit next to one another without blending.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The lines around the building stay firm and clean. Gerhard Richter painted from photographs in this period. The paper is matte, so the flat tones stay even and the print is ready to hang on a single nail or screw.

A metal hanger is fitted to the back and holds the sheet straight. It works on a hallway wall near the stairs. From the landing you see the simple roof line and the cool colours stay calm.
