Sfm83-458

Sfm83-458 by Sam Francis shows open colour washes spread over a white field. The paint sits in thin layers, leaving soft gaps between the shapes. The work belongs to the post war colour field painting practice.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail. No separate frame needs to be bought. This keeps the bare white field visible without a border around it.

It fits on a hallway wall beside a small table. From the landing you see the broad colour shapes, and near the light switch you notice the thin paint edges.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
