About this work
Skyscape II - 1988 by Nicholas Krushenick shows bright colour planes stacked against a darker ground. Green and orange sit next to each other and push apart across the picture. The flat colour blocks read as a sky broken into hard bands.
The fine art print arrives ready to hang on a metal hanger fitted to the back. That hanger goes straight onto a nail or screw, so the print goes up on the wall without a separate frame. The paper is matte and holds the colour planes without shine.
It works on a bedroom wall seen from the doorway. The colour bands stay clear across that distance, and the darker ground keeps the bright green from washing out in morning light.
