Small Landscape — Fine Art

Small Landscape - 1968 by Dieter Roth uses a pale ground with uneven patches of green and brown. The colour sits in loose bands that do not line up.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The mood is quiet and the shapes feel drawn rather than painted. A soft frame keeps the picture clear on the wall.

White finish gives the edge a clean line that does not pull from the pale tones. You notice the uneven green patches first, then the quiet brown bands. It works above a study desk where the late modern painting practice reads as a small field of colour.
