Smears of Jam, Lights of Jelly — Fine Art

Red and pink marks sit over a pale ground in Smears of Jam, Lights of Jelly - 2007. The colour sits bright against the lighter field. It reads like a close study of fruit and glass.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. It arrives assembled when the ready to hang option is used. The surface stays matte, so the red tones do not reflect much under a lamp.

It suits a dining room wall near a corner chair. From the chair you see the bright marks first. Mary Pratt works with careful observation of ordinary objects.
