Souvenir Duthuit — Fine Art

Souvenir Duthuit - 1975 is a painted sheet by Bram van Velde. Broad strokes of colour move across the surface, with some areas thinner and some heavier. The paint sits in layers rather than in a neat pattern. Empty space around the strokes gives the sheet room to breathe.

The picture is offered as a fine art print with a clear frame edge on the wall. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black, and the finish sits flat against the painted strokes. A white frame keeps the colours open.

It works on a bedroom wall near a window, where daylight catches the paint layers from the side. From the foot of the bed you see the broad shapes, and near the headboard you notice the thinner washes between them.
