Spatial Relief red REL 036 — Fine Art

Spatial Relief red REL 036 - 1959 holds a blocky red form pushed forward from the surface. The mark feels pressed rather than painted, with edges that catch the light as they turn. A thin shadow sits along the lower edge, giving the shape its own weight on the ground.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fixed to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need a frame. The matte surface keeps the red from shining back under a lamp.

It fits in a study above a desk where the afternoon light moves across the room. From the desk chair you read the sharp turn of the red form. Step back to the doorway and the shape settles against the wall.
