Spruce Redwood and Pine — Fine Art

Spruce Redwood and Pine shows three tree shapes standing in a row against a plain background. The trunks sit upright with clean edges around them.

You can see the line work most clearly when you stand near the wall. The picture uses flat green and brown tones across the page. Eyvind Earle made this image with his usual clear outline style and mid century illustration habits.

The fine art print sits on matte paper, so the greens stay muted and there is no shine under a lamp. A light frame looks right beside wooden furniture in a study. From the door you notice the hard tree shapes first, then the small outline marks near the trunks.
