Still Life Interior — Fine Art

Still Life Interior by Hans Hofmann places a painted tabletop against a room space. Broad blocks of paint meet sharper lines that divide the sheet. The picture reads as an interior seen through colour rather than detail. A fine art print keeps the painted surface steady on the wall.

The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A black frame gives the picture a firm outline that separates the painted room from the wall. Against the divided colour planes the edge stays clear without softening the marks.

It fits above a desk along a side wall. From the chair you see the painted blocks first, then the small shifts between the strokes.
