Still life with a basket of vegetables — Fine Art

Still life with a basket of vegetables shows a woven basket filled with root vegetables on a flat surface. Short paint strokes of green, brown and pale yellow cover the shapes. You can see the basket weave and the round forms of potatoes or onions from across the room.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte paper keeps the paint strokes soft, so the green and brown tones do not shine under a lamp.

It suits a kitchen wall above the counter where you slice vegetables for dinner. From the doorway you notice the basket shape and the colour bands first. Standing closer you see the short paint strokes that cover each vegetable.
