Still Life with Basket and Six Oranges — Fine Art

Still Life with Basket and Six Oranges places a woven basket with six round fruit on a simple table. The fruit fills the lower half of the picture and the basket holds the weight at the centre.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The white frame gives the image a clean edge on the wall and keeps the painted marks clear at the border. A dark wood frame would add weight to the fruit tones and pull the eye toward the basket.

It works on a kitchen wall near the table edge where morning light falls on the fruit. You see the painted strokes and the orange tones before you see the rest of the room. The basket and fruit stay clear from across the breakfast nook.
