Still Life with Blue Tablecloth 1906 — Fine Art

Still Life with Blue Tablecloth 1906 shows a cloth spread across a surface with fruit and everyday objects placed on it. Broad strokes of paint lay down the blue ground and the objects sit in clear space. The marks stay loose and quick.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood and black. A white frame gives this still life a clean edge. The dark wood frame sets the blue cloth apart from the wall. You see the frame finish first, then the painted cloth.

Hang it above a sideboard with soft light from a window on the left. From across the room the blue ground and the object shapes read as one calm field. Up close the brush marks show the hand behind each stroke.
