Still Life with Bottle and Glass 1914 — Fine Art

A bottle and a glass sit close together on a shallow table in Still Life with Bottle and Glass 1914. The picture reads as flat colour planes and thin outlines rather than a real scene.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The frame finish can follow the room you choose. A light frame works on a dark wall, and a dark frame works on a pale wall, or a wood frame sits beside wooden furniture.

On a study wall the bottle and glass read as simple forms, and the room feels steady without much else on the shelf. Near a desk the flat shapes stay clear, and you notice the outlines before the colours. The picture stays with you as a quiet object.
