Still Life with Onions

Onions with their papery skins sit on a surface in Still Life with Onions. Pierre-Auguste Renoir used short brush marks and broken colour touches in his late nineteenth century practice.

The prints are made on a fine art paper with a matte finish, so the paint handling stays readable and the surface does not reflect lamp light.
