About this work
A windmill stands in the middle of Still Life with Windmill 1974. Ben-Day dots fill the sky with small printed marks. The shapes use flat colour and heavy black outlines. Roy Lichtenstein painted this in a pop art style.
The fine art sheet arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The metal fits the sheet so you place it on the wall without extra parts.
On a kitchen wall near the sink the windmill shows up against the pale tiles. From the table you see the dots before the outline, and the black lines hold the shape together.
