Strawberry Jam 1917 — Fine Art

Strawberry Jam 1917 builds a table scene from flat colour planes and thin outlines, the way Juan Gris often worked. Fruit, a container and a few everyday shapes sit on a divided ground, arranged in clear blocks of colour. The picture keeps its forms simple and readable.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel, and arrives ready to hang. The surface stays matte, so the lighter colour blocks do not catch a harsh shine from the bulb over the counter.

It fits the wall by the breakfast table near the sink. You notice the red of the fruit first, then the outline of the glass across the morning light.
